TOPSFLO December Charity for Disability Assistance Event

In active response to the theme of the 32nd International Day of Persons with Disabilities, "Taking unified action for and with persons with disabilities to salvage and achieve sustainable development goals," TOPSFLO's Charity Team conducted a themed outreach event titled "Hand in hand, supporting the umbrella of disability, building a harmonious new home with connected hearts" at the Shangshan Disability Support Center in Changsha on December 9th. We provided essential living and office supplies, concluding with an "Farming" activity, aiming to extend tangible care and assistance within our capacity to individuals with disabilities.



During this visit, our charity team, guided by two individuals with disabilities, toured the Shangshan Loving Library and the Life Memory Museum, gaining firsthand exposure to the daily lives of people with disabilities. Among them, the optimistic and resilient Zhou Guoping, who despite losing limbs, moved us deeply with his artworks that resembled blossoms on a cliff, evoking both astonishment and admiration. A first-degree cerebral palsy patient delivered a challenging yet complete presentation that brought tears to the eyes of those present, prompting bursts of applause. These ovations not only recognized her brilliant presentation but also applauded her love and efforts toward life. Despite life's profound challenges, they never relinquished their love for life and their expectations for the future; instead, they proved their own value and capabilities through actions.



Amidst the warm winter, the various vegetables thriving in their garden prompted TOPSFLO's Charity Team to volunteer, engaging in agricultural activities – removing surplus radish seedlings to ensure the successful growth of radishes. In the fields, everyone worked unitedly and tirelessly; despite being drenched in sweat, they persevered until the last plot was cleared. Through this firsthand experience, we gained an increased appreciation for the struggles faced by people with disabilities, furthering our admiration for them.

The brief interaction allowed us to witness the challenges and hardships in the lives of people with disabilities while also experiencing their resilience in the face of adversity and their immense passion for life. "Despite their disabilities, they live so positively and optimistically; we, physically and mentally sound, should strive harder." This sentiment resonated deeply within members of TOPSFLO's Charity Team. We hope that our visit and care can bring warmth and love to them in this winter.

In the warmth of the winter sun, love knows no boundaries. With approximately 85 million people with disabilities in our country, they are the group most in need of care and attention from all sectors of society. Each acceptance, respect, and love we offer is crucial for them. For years, TOPSFLO has conducted a series of charitable activities for vulnerable groups, extending care and warmth to the elderly, left-behind children, and special populations in various forms. As a socially responsible enterprise, we deeply understand the significance of philanthropy. TOPSFLO will continue to actively engage in philanthropic endeavors, aiming to influence more individuals to join this cause through our actions.
